Personal Data Collection
AgriScot collects the following data through the AgriScot website and other associated avenues.
Electronic Newsletter
The AgriScot website provides a portal to allow users to sign-up / subscribe to an electronic newsletter mailing list. The only information collected through this process is your email address.
Upon subscribing to the mailing list through the subscription form displayed on the AgriScot website, your email address will be added to a database through the services of a third party company named MailChimp.
The content of this database is managed and used by AgriScot to provide subscribers to the AgriScot mailing list with a regular electronic newsletter via email. This information is not used for any other purposes.
The email addresses collected by this process are not shared with any external companies without express permission of the subscriber and we do not provide data to any external companies. Please consult the terms and conditions of the MailChimp service for more information on how your data is processed, used and stored by them.
If you wish to be deleted from this database please either a) click the unsubscribe link show at the base of the electronic newsletter or b) request your email address to be removed from the database by sending an email with your request to info@agriscot.co.uk or by calling the organisers direct on Tel: 0131 333 0965.
Printed Promotional Material
On behalf of the AgriScot, the event organisers – Rural Projects – provides a printed newsletter via the UK postal service to subscribers of a promotional mailing list. Subscription to this mailing list is voluntary and the data collected is stored by AgriScot for this one purpose only.
The data collected includes Name and Postal Address and may also include an Email Address. This data is securely stored by Rural Projects in compliance with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
If you wish to be deleted from the mailing list please request your details be removed from the database by sending an email with your request to info@agriscot.co.uk by calling the organisers direct on Tel: 0131 333 0965.
Photography
The AgriScot website contains photography from previous events. The photographic images included on this website do not contain any information that can identify any individual unless otherwise stated.
As part of the terms and conditions of entry by attending the AgriScot event you give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.
You have the right to request that any image in which you, or a minor you are related to or for which you are responsible for, are featured is removed from the AgriScot website. You also have the right to request that your image is not used in any printed or digital material.
To request the removal of a image from the website or to request AgriScot cease using your image in their promotional material, please send an email with your request to info@agriscot.co.uk or call the organisers direct on Tel: 0131 333 0965.
Email Communication
We collect some information about you from email messages that you send to us. The information collected will be used to send you any information you have requested and to provide information about AgriScot that may be of interest or of use.
To enable an efficient level of communication between AgriScot and visitors to the event, email communications and associated contact names / email addresses are retained by AgriScot. This data is stored securely onsite in compliance with the guidelines set out by the GDPR.
AgriScot does not provide any data collected through email communication to any third-party companies, agencies or organisations without express permission from the client.
This policy also applies to any data collected by use of the contact forms displayed on the AgriScot website.

We do not collect any personal data through the various AgriScot social network accounts.
