The UK's No. 1 Farm Business Event

Online Dairy Hub Seminar plans Revealed

The popular Scottish Dairy Hub “Question Time” panel session is moving to cyber space this year as part of AgriScot online. The debate, which has been held in physical form at the farm business event for the past 3 years, has proven to be a must attend for dairy farmers and others with an interest in the sector. Organisers hope it will be no less popular online.

The Scottish Dairy Hub will once again be joined by Kite Consultancy to stage the session’ which is set to take place on Wednesday the 18th of November at 13:00.
Becki Leach, Senior Consultant at Kite will be co-hosting this year’s debate with Stuart Martin, Manager of the Scottish Dairy Hub.

The expert panel, challenged to get their teeth into the big issues facing the dairy sector, includes Robert Graham Managing Director at Grahams the Family Dairy, newly appointed chair of AHDB Nicholas Saphir and journalist and market analyst Chris Walkland. The panel has a wealth of experience on dairy supply chains at domestic, national and world levels. Their knowledge and experience surrounding issues on Brexit, Market Forces, and the challenges of Covid amongst other topics will ensure an insightful debate and be of great relevance to all that tune in.

Stuart Martin, who manages the Scottish Dairy Hub, explained why it was important to feature such a high-profile panel:

“The Scottish Dairy Hub’s main role is to answer the questions of dairy farmers and we want to give them an opportunity to ask questions directly to industry figures they may hear about, but don’t have a direct line for. Working again with Kite this year will also give a great opportunity for a greater amount of knowledge exchange from previous events which will ensure a very informative event for farmers and industry stakeholders.”

To ensure you have your questions put to the panel please email in advance of the event. Mark your email Agriscot 2020.

Becki is part of the Kite team providing business services to the food supply chain, from farmer to retailer, and widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading dairy consultancy companies. She adds:

“There are some very important issues on the horizon for dairy farmers in Scotland and this is a great opportunity to get some key messages across and listen to feedback from the farmers themselves”

The Dairy Hub Seminar event takes place at 1.00pm on Wednesday, November 18th and is part of a packed AgriScot online agenda.
